Activities of Vibhu Foundation
Vibhu Foundation conducts a wide range of spiritual, educational, and cultural activities rooted in the traditional wisdom of Vedānta and Sanātana Dharma. Under the guidance of Swami Shivaprakashananda Saraswati, the Foundation aims to nurture spiritual growth, mental well-being, and value-based living for people from all walks of life.
1. Vedānta Classes
Swami Shivaprakashananda Saraswati conducts regular Vedānta classes on classical texts such as the Bhagavad Gītā, Upaniṣads, Prakaraṇa Granthas, and Śaṅkara Bhāṣyas.
These classes are conducted both offline in Bengaluru and online, enabling seekers across India and worldwide to participate. The teachings are primarily offered in English and Sanskrit, following the traditional methodology of Vedānta.
2. Sanskrit Language Classes
The Foundation offers structured Sanskrit classes for beginners as well as advanced students. These classes are conducted by Swami Shivaprakashananda and his senior disciples, both online and offline, with the aim of promoting Sanskrit learning and enabling direct access to the original scriptures.
3. Guided Meditation Sessions
Guided meditation sessions are conducted for serious spiritual seekers. These sessions support mental clarity, emotional balance, stress management, and psychological well-being, while also aiding inner growth and spiritual unfoldment.
4. Residential Vedānta Retreats
Vibhu Foundation organizes residential Vedānta retreats at various locations from time to time. These retreats provide an opportunity for focused śravaṇa (listening), manana (reflection), meditation, and contemplation in a peaceful environment. Participants step away from daily routines to immerse themselves in spiritual study and sādhana.
5. Life Skill Education Programs
The Foundation conducts Life Skill Education Programs for students, youth, and the general public. These programs emphasize values, discipline, mental health, and ethical living, drawing inspiration from Indian philosophy and ancient wisdom traditions.
6. Jñāna Yajñas (Spiritual Discourses)
Jñāna Yajñas are series of public talks on Vedānta and allied spiritual topics, aimed at enriching the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual life of the wider community. Vibhu Foundation organizes these discourses periodically at various venues.
7. Cultural and Spiritual Observances
The Foundation organizes and observes important spiritual and cultural occasions such as Guru Pūrṇimā, Mahāśivarātri, Śaṅkara Jayantī, and other sacred events. These observances include pūjā, Vedic chanting, and special talks, helping people understand their deeper spiritual significance.
