Gita Jayanti 2025

1st December 2025 is an important day for Vibhu Foundation – the reason being the celebration of “Gita Jayanti” which falls on Ekadasi in the Margashirsha month of the Hindu calendar. It is also called the Mokshada Ekadasi.

About 20-25 people gathered at the Gayathri Parishath Temple for the ‘Bhagavad Gita Parayana’. The program began at 9:00 a.m. with a small pooja. As the Parayana progressed, the hall reverberated with the combined echo of the shlokas, filling the room with sanctity and bringing about a charged atmosphere! Chapters were interspersed with a small pooja and blessings were received by all. The Parayana concluded
at 12:00 noon with an aarti followed by Swamiji’s address in Sanskrit.

Swamiji said that on this auspicious day, on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, Bhagavan had blessed Arjuna with the sacred and profound ‘Atmagyan’ which had solved his emotional and intellectual problems making him win the righteous war of Mahabharata!

As we were chanting, our poojya Guruji witnessed the Vibhuti of Bhagavan! Today being a damp and cloudy day, bright sunlight was missing. As we started chanting chapter 11 – “Vishwa Roopa Darshana”, our Guru saw a beam of sunlight enter the temple through the glass window above! Our compassionate Guru told us that it was the blessing of Bhagavan bestowed upon all of us! What more can anyone ask for?

We are extremely humbled to know that Bhagavan has showered his grace upon us! We are also immensely grateful to our Guru – Poojya Swami Shivprakashananda Saraswati ji – for leading us to the right path in life!
